Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 14, 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Yaru Habit Tracker (the "Service") handles information. We designed the app to function primarily on-device, based on the product features described in our interface.
1. Information We Collect
- Habit data you enter: habit names, optional descriptions, color selections, and target frequency per week.
- Completion records: the dates on which you mark a habit as completed.
- App settings: preferences such as onboarding status and UI settings.
- Subscription state: whether premium access is active, used purely to determine feature availability.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide core functionality (habit tracking, calendars, and statistics).
- Determine access to premium features when a subscription is active.
- Facilitate optional backups/exports if and when you choose to use them.
3. Where Data Is Stored
By default, your habit data is stored locally on your device. Unless we explicitly offer cloud sync and you enable it, your data does not leave your device. If you export data, it will be saved to a location you choose.
4. Backups and Data Retention
The app may offer optional backup or export functionality. You control when to export and where to store exported files. We recommend keeping backups to prevent data loss.
5. Payments
If you purchase a subscription, it is processed by a third-party platform (for example, an app store or a payment processor). We do not store your full payment card details.
6. Sharing and Selling of Data
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share habit details with advertisers.
- We may share limited information with payment providers to complete a transaction.
7. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child, contact us to request deletion.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the nature of data processed. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. Keep your device secure and maintain backups.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Because data is primarily stored on your device, you can edit, export, or delete it directly within the app when such features are available.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above when changes are made.
